About Drusilla
Born and raised in Salem, Massachusetts, Drusilla Carlisle has always been passionate about storytelling.My History
She was the kind of kid who hid with a flashlight under the covers long after bedtime because she couldn’t put down the book she was reading. She knew that she was destined to tell stories and started writing.
She continued to hone her craft through high school and college and often found herself writing stories to entertain her friends. Her deep love of genre fiction as a young person is why she writes young adult fiction now. Drusilla wants to write the type of stories that she loved back then.

Drusilla’s debut novel “Mermaid Blues” is a tale of forbidden love, danger, and mystery. “Possession” is the first in a series of young adult horror/supernatural fantasy. She is currently working on Book 2 “Bloodties” in the Horror High series.
When she’s not writing, Drusilla can be found playing with her cats, reading, going out to dinner with her husband, or spending time with her family and friends.
